Youri Tielemans became the first Aston Villa player to score at the Euros since Marcus Allback for Sweden against Bulgaria in 2004 with a stunning strike to give Belgium the lead.

The match was end-to-end throughout, with both sides having chances to win it. Romania pulled level through Dennis Man in the second half, but De Bruyne's moment of magic in the 75th minute proved to be the winner.

With the victory, Belgium move up to second in Group B, while Romania remain bottom with one point from two games.
